Multicolour Search for Flickr

thumbs.pngColour search for images has been around for ages, but what about multicolour search? The good folks at Idée are proud to announce the Multicolr Search Lab. We extracted the colours from a collection of 3 million “interesting” Flickr images. Using our visual similarity technology you can now navigate the collection by colour.

Our cutting-edge visual search algorithms help you browse and quickly find images that share the same colours. Just select one or more colours from the colour palette and your search will happen automatically.

Matthew: the Alamy and Flickr search work and they work beautifully. You may have been playing with them the day we took the servers offline for an upgrade? Let me know what problems you are experiencing ’cause they work just fine!
