We at Idée like the idea of getting together for lunch while checking out great local tech companies and meeting interesting people. So we decided to take a note of what the group in Silicon Valley has done and start Lunch 2.0 in Canada!
What is it? Lunch 2.0 is lunch events at any (interesting and innovative) tech company where you show up, eat, and talk to interesting people. This is additional way for the startup communities across the country to get together and share ideas (and keep each other well-fed), and it will hopefully be an extension of what events like DemoCamp achieve.

The first lunch 2.0 in Canada will be held at the Idéeplex in Toronto
What: Join us to check out our cool image recognition and search software, and for some pizza (no pizza pizza here), Italian sodas, dessert, and lots of interesting conversations with passionate people doing cool things around the city. You’ll also get a glimpse of what cool new technologies we’ve got in the works!
